Powers Route
This 100-mile loop tour takes you through the country that made
Oregon famous. From an ocean view at Gold Beach, the route travels
to the small rural community of Powers. There is abundant
wildlife, plus recreational opportunities, including whitewater
rafting and boating, hiking along the Rogue River trail and
excellent fishing.
South Slough Estuarine Sanctuary Interpretive Center
The South Slough
watershed covers 19,000 acres. The area spans from steep ridges
which divide the watershed and to the north it joins with the Coos
watershed where it meets the Pacific ocean.
Coos Bay
Charleston Harbor / Seven Devils Loop
A four mile loop tour includes the quaint fishing village of
Charleston at the mouth of the Bay. You will be able to fish from a
dock, engage in clamming or crabbing or take a charter boat. A short
side trip west from Charleston will take you to Bastendorff Beach
and Sunset Bay Parks. The trip also takes you to historic Shore
Acres Gardens.

Port Orford Lifeboat Station
Restored as an interpretive center dedicated to those who
served from 1934 to 1970, the restoration process is an ongoing
endeavor. Trails lead to Nellie's Cove Port Orford Lifeboat
