Port Orford  - Located halfway between Bandon and Gold beach you’ll find the small picturesque friendly town of Port Orford.  An artistic community, with numerous art galleries owned and operated by world-class artists.  Rich in history, Port Orford features a Lifeboat Station Museum, the port of Port Orford and Battle Rock Historical Park.  To the north is the Cape Blanco Lighthouse, and the restored Victorian Hughes House Museum.

Kite flying, beachcombing, camping, fishing, ocean and windsurfing, crabbing, clamming, picnicking, along with visiting local shops and restaurants are popular local activities. There's also hiking at nearby Humbug Mountain and at Port Orford Heads State Park.
