North Bend - Located along US 101 about 5 miles north of Coos Bay on the “north bend” of the Coos Bay estuary, North Bend  has respectively 9,600 residents and features the historic McCullough Bridge and North Bend Municipal Airport. Steeped in history, North Bend was home to the regions first hospital, plays a prominent role in aviation history and thrived as an early coastal frontier.  Many downtown buildings dating to the early 20th Century are slowing being restored.
